Aries Season Begins!

Welcome to the NEW Astrological Year! From March 20-April 19, the sun shines upon the baby of the zodiac, bringing vitality + passion to our projects. Also known as the warrior or the ram, Aries is energetic, brave and embodies the leader. This is the time to let the fire of transformation burn bright to create a fresh start for your ambitious intentions. Punctuated by the Spring Equinox, this season is all about new life, growth and inspiration.
Aries is all about taking initiative, and supports us in finding our strength to be bold in our endeavors. Now that we’ve passed through Pisces healing waters, it’s time to take this fire and ignite new life into our intentions, actions and aspirations.

Practices:
- Make an altar for spring/new beginnings. Use flowers, plants and vibrant colors to adorn your sacred space.
- Do a flame gazing meditation or candle ritual. Light a candle and gaze into the flame, visualizing and calling in the action you’d like to take in this new year. You can also carve intentions into the candle beforehand, and even anoint with herbs and oils if it calls to you.
- Meditate on the Emperor or Divine Masculine tarot/archetype.
- Dance! Shout out loud! Express yourself! Aries wants to take action, to charge forward, and one of the best ways to do this is embracing + declaring your life force energy through movement + sound in your own unique expression.
The shadow side of Aries can be confrontational and a little hot headed, so practices to embody this fire can be super helpful in channeling it through you, so as to better manage any little conflicts that arise with more grace and patience. Releasing through rigorous physical activity, burning intentions, or even having a primal scream moment, can be super cathartic.
Ruled by Mars, Aries has a natural way with taking action and making things happen with gusto. This is the sign of self, of righteous independence—astrologer Aliza Kelly said, "Aries leads with blind optimism, barreling through life with an electric joie de vivre that perfectly complements their distinctive impulsivity." So embrace this inner fire of inspiration, and shine forth onto the new year ahead.
